Jeremiah 33.3 — Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Happy New Year—it’s 2018! We pray that this finds you filled with the peace and love of God, and that the favor of the Lord rests on your life. Looking back, I’m happy to say that Lighthouse had one of its best years; and our future is brighter than ever!

The best part? We did this together! We’re a busy place, with many strong expressions of the Love of God in our numerous ministries. The last three months of every year is always so crazy for Lighthouse; we always manage accomplish more than it’s possible to describe here. But we want to take a minute to celebrate a few special moments:

Thank you to John & Rita for the way they managed to produce a concert in between “The Fire” and family crises—how did you pull that off?! Also thanks to TJ & Mike for their tireless labor to improve our facilities in three locations. Also thank you to Sebastian who installed lights at the main campus so we can see where we drive at night.

Our community impact was huge! Thanks to Marisa who threw a spectacular Costume Carnival and Pastor Alex who mobilized the Spanish fellowship to feed everybody there.  Sharon was amazing throwing the ladies’ Share® gig, and Penny’s annual Thanksgiving feed in Guerneville was bigger than ever (and made her a movie star—but we knew her first). Then, Donna set up a sober-drive solution that got the attention of the people of the Valley—and the local social media world. (Jordan took her call seriously and hung out at the square handing out waters as the bars closed!)

Friends, we are so honored and it is so rewarding to get to do this adventure together with you. Thank you all for your love, support and committed relationship in this thing we call Lighthouse

Here’s to the Happiest New Year Ever!
Pastors Steven & Deena
