Jesus said,

“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.”

Lighthouse Kids’ Church - Sundays 10am

Kids’ Church is a fun service geared for children. Experienced teachers and aids lead the service and each day’s activities are built around the theme of the lesson and the memory verse. Every service includes a time of praise and worship. The keyboard player leads the children in song. Children receive a handout each week with the lesson story as well as puzzles and activities to reinforce the concepts. A wide variety of activities are planned for Kids’ Church including: arts, crafts, games, structured play, puppets, and skits. A snack is served each week. Our curriculum provides a systematic introduction to the Bible and major Christian doctrines coordinated from Pre-school through 5th Grade. The Wednesday night program reinforces the Bible concepts taught Sunday morning to insure understanding and aid children in spiritual growth.

Nursery & Pre-School

LCC Nursery is for babies six months through two years old. Children play, listen to Bible stories, sing songs, and have snack. The LCC nursery is staffed by moms and trained volunteers. Pre-School is for children ages three through five. Bible lessons are taught during circle time. Children play, make crafts, sing songs, and memorize Bible verses. Experienced teachers and aids facilitate centers with a variety fun developmentally appropriate activities designed to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus and increase their fine and gross motor skills.

Lighthouse Kids! is a hybrid of the Assembly of God Royal Rangers and Missionettes program offered during the regular Wednesday night service at 7:00pm. Crafts, games and a Bible lesson, are part of the weekly program. Kindergarten through fifth grade participate in fun activities and lessons which enable them to earn badges. Kids have opportunity to attend a couple of field trips a year. Special guest speakers are invited regularly. The annual Pinewood Derby Race takes place after the cars are built in the summer.

The Wednesday night Bible lessons dovetail with the Sunday morning lessons to improve children’s understanding and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
