New Year's Letter From Pastor Steve

Dear Lighthouse Friend,

Happy New Year!

I'm so excited to write to you today to welcome you into 2020. It is a real season of Faith and Expectant Favor from the Lord. I know we're going to have a great year in His Kingdom purpose.

Lighthouse has grown from a tiny handful of people in the city of Sonoma to a multi-campus operation that is quickly becoming a significant influence in Sonoma County. We are so hopeful about the future, and we're so glad you're a part of that story. We get a lot done during the first month of the year, so I wanted to take a moment to remind you of a few important Church-wide events.

On January 19th I will share my annual Vision Sunday Message at the Main Campus at 10AM. This year,
I will only present that message once, at that time. Of course, the message will be recorded, and made available online for those unable to attend. That same day, we'll call the entire Fellowship to join us for a week of focused Corporate Prayer. And, we encourage those who can do so to also Fast together with us, as the Lord leads. We have made materials available on our website for those who may need instruction regarding the spiritual discipline of fasting.  Then, that evening we will hold a Water Baptism Service at our Northbay Campus in Santa Rosa. If you need to follow the Lord in this important step of obedience, you can apply online at
SonomaLighthouse.com.

On Wednesday the 22nd we will hold a Membership Information Meeting at the Main Campus for anyone interested in becoming a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship of Churches. This will be a place where you can learn about who we are, and ask questions in an informal setting. Then, each campus will receive new members that Sunday, the 26th.  For more information, or to sign up for that opportunity, apply online.

On Sunday evening the 26th I will speak at the Northbay Campus and share my Heart for the Northbay. This year, we will turn our attention to Evangelism in our area, with the specific application of outreach to the city of Santa Rosa, and greater Sonoma County. This message will speak to that direction, and some of the specific steps we’ll be taking in this regard.

Finally, on the 29th  we will hold our Annual Business Meeting at the Main Campus. While this meeting is open to all to attend, only Members of Lighthouse will be entrusted to participate in the confirmation process by voting.

Thanks for being a part of this great adventure that we're on. This year, I pray that you would have a wonderful, blessed, and prosperous New Year. I pray that God would strengthen you in health, and make you passionate in every good work that he leads you to do. Finally, I pray that:

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. – 2 Corinthians 13:14
